Dear K,

You just wrote about my entire high school experience. Well, maybe not the third stanza. But everything else word for word.
I don’t know how that memory for you cropped up but this poem helped purge a lot of yuck for me and I’m grateful. H🌷

Interesting.
Somebody once told me that I stay on the periphery of things. I was really annoyed at the time, but much later I came to see that he is right. It's where I put myself.

How did I miss this one?!   Maybe because now I'm reading it at a better time for me!  It fits current events.
I really like it's message, and the introspective voice that you're sharing with us.   So many of us can relate either a little or a lot!  
Just remember, your writing power makes you a superhero to us.

I post so infrequently these days, I'm sure it's easy to miss. That's ok. I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Introspection seems to be great poetry-fodder for me, but sometimes I wonder if I ought to write about something other than myself! 🙄😆
