I saw your eyes cloud over when I invited another poet to visit me
that was my first indication you even liked me
you've remained so perfectly concealed all these years
I truly had no idea you cared at all

I thought you despised me
then you came to me under your alternate account
the one you confessed to me was yours
and told me you love me
I was floored my heart combelled
I was so happy to know you returned my feelings

did you forget telling me all those years ago about your alias?
in any case are you worried about your feelings over me

I can't talk to you straight you won't allow it
it's against the rules you've set
I'm open to talk to you
but perhaps the reality of me is too much
