Status Quo
Any other day, we could've made it
Any other day, We could've shared this world
We could had travel the globe, land to land without borders
You could had shared your garden, and I could had shared my water
White and brown sharing meals at the same fucking table
Equally sharing, no hostility, no dam labels
Any other day, we could've made it
Any other day, We could've shared this world
No looking for a nine or an uzi, you can't find it
The need never arose to ever design it
Peace has gone global, no need for the criminal minded
The sun now comes in second, humanity out shines it
Any other day, we could've made it
Any other day, We could've shared this world
Drugs, what is that, there is no need for meth or crack
Why would I destroy my fellow humans with something like that
Some could be pushed to death and that i could never take back
No, in this world there is total harmony and that's a fact
Any other day, we could've made it
Any other day, We could've shared this world
There's no need for all of these hospitals, we're healthy as hell
Without the fucking stress we're living longer, even a blind man could tell
Life expectancy doubled with just a few simple jesters
Sharing what we each have, and thinking of no one as lesser
Any other day, we could've made it
Any other day, We could've shared this world
We would save billions by abolishing a corrupted prison system
Crime and criminals no longer exist and we wouldn't miss them
But for whatever reason we love this shit as it is
That is why this couplet repeats, we like this shit as it is
Any other day, we could've made it
Any other day, We could've shared this world
Any other day, We could've shared this world
