Bodies Are Quite Enough
“There are days so good, I almost believe in a God.” Ann Hood
He tastes my lips
as if remembering.
His tongue plays at the edges
of my mouth before a
deeper wishing comes over him.
He slides in as if he might
discover my soul.
I smile around his tongue
at my lack of belief in souls.
For me, bodies are quite enough.
He tastes my lips
as if remembering.
His tongue plays at the edges
of my mouth before a
deeper wishing comes over him.
He slides in as if he might
discover my soul.
I smile around his tongue
at my lack of belief in souls.
For me, bodies are quite enough.
