I straddle him and look him in the eyes
Leaning in to kiss him I receive a surprise
“I only kiss women I date”
Turns out fate
Had something in store for me
A man bruised so badly
That he can’t see  
Love in front of him
I lean in again
Kissing his ears
Holding back my tears
It’s taken over thirty years
To find him again
And he’s turned cold
