A kiss
A kiss is just a kiss
Ah, but that too short an answer
It is the sort of peck in the cheeks... mano a mano two or three times as in some cultures?
Is it the First Kiss of youth with all the daring implied and great promises?
Is it the Good Night kiss on the cheek of the sweet date you just had?
Is it more of the very hot and passionate French Kiss type,
A kiss leading to all sorts of bedroom gymnastics?
Or does the kiss involve tears, a departure, and sweet sorrows?
Or is it a kiss of a joyous reunion?

I prefer to remember the first one
with all the bitter sweet promise it
held. The electric tingle of the skin
the goose bumps. A painfully delicious
memory.
