Weeping Freedom
I don't think that she was ever into our relationship or even me
Silly arguements continually started everytime she felt she was getting to close to me
Her only escape was to escape until again the need was to great
The haunting pain that she continually left, with that she really couldn't relate
She loved the freedom of our relationship, her ability to come and go
Her ability to touch my inner most core and hurt me so
This wasn't a relationship that we had, and she went out of her way to let me know
She had given her heart to many times before and she swore no more
I had a place in her life, I had and served a purpose
But regardless of how good we were together, she refused to get to close
Our firey nights spent sweating up the sheets, pushing each other to our limits
Our minds and bodies bent, taking with a punishment all that we could get
She was punishing me for everyone that left and I was punishing her for refusing to stay
I had read all of the fairy tales and none of them ended this way
Crushing sexual blows in passion's throws as if we were foes
Only for tomorrow to come and watch her go, but needing her though
There was no way that I could take the weight of her past loves
She was warring with my heart and affections, but they drew first blood
There was no date or time for her hunger if ever to return
I saw her standing in line at the mall as my heart waited it's turn
Polar caps went from melting to icebergs shattering and drifting away
"You knew what we were," wasn't words that she had to say
There could had been pain on her face as I watched her through blurry eyes
And as I painfully waved farewell to my beautiful emotional lies
Silly arguements continually started everytime she felt she was getting to close to me
Her only escape was to escape until again the need was to great
