I care.
It's just like me
to love someone I can't have.
You're heart knows what I need,
But it's out of my reach.
I know to you it seems silly
that I could feel this way.
But what do you really
expect me to say?
You held me close to you,
then broke my heart when
you admitted to me about a girlfriend.
And it was then
that I told you I was done.
But even though I walk away
I will always care,
thinking of you til the end of the day.
I care, I really and truly do,
because there is no one who knows me
as well as you.
