The Witch Patch Ch 6
Broomhilda.
Hello, it’s me again Blake. I figured I’d give you, the reader a quick tour and a little history about our house, both inside & out so you can get a visual.
The Breakstone family lives in a huge Victorian Mansion that dates all the way back to the late 1600’s Our mansion has many rooms and nooks and crannies. The mansion has three adjoining buildings. The main house, a sky tower guest house with a roof that looks like a huge pointy witch hat; and at the back of the house sits the third building where our solarium sits, complete with sky lights, and all kinds of magical serums, portions, and exotic plants & creatures. Like “Babinski” our amazing fruit bat who I love dearly♥️
There's always something blooming, and something brewing in 1 or seveal of our many cauldrons. We have two apothecary chests, a few telescopes & star charts, a bunch of thinking chairs and even a science lab with a huge periodic table.
In order get to the solarium you have to climb 99 heavy steps to the top. Unless of course u magick, however, sometimes you end up in the upstairs broom closet. 😂
Btw The grand staircase is only visible to Breakstone and McGovern’s blood. A witches laboratory is the most sacred place in their home. And unless invited anyone trying to get inside would first have to find it, then overcome the protection charm that’s been in place for centuries. And lastly, they would have to figure out how to walk again; because our bewitched intruder robot “Goliath” activates from behind the door and will break both your legs the very second you gain access. Btw Goliath uses a metal Louisville slugger baseball bat, and that kinda beatin’ magick can’t fix.
The main house has 13 bedrooms including 4 master suits, 13 bathrooms, 13 fireplaces, a huge kitchen with modern and antique appliances, a walk in pantry, laundry room, parlor, living room, fully unabridged library, a formal dining room, a regular dinning room, a mud room, a basement gameroom, a back staircase with about 43 steps adjacent to the kitchen and 27 closets. Plus a few other secret rooms.
Inside and out, our house is fashioned in gothic contemporary deco. It even has a name, Broomhilda. Named In honor of our ancient grandmother, Broomhilda. There’s even a lake out back and a barn, some stables, horses a few pigs & chickens, and of course Chico, our goat. The Breakstone family my family have been living here in this house since our ancestors built it in just under a month after arriving and settling here in Plymouth Massachusetts back in 1694. Oh an by the way, the Breakstone family has money, our parents were brilliant engineers & physicists and both had esteem degrees in astrophysics as well as other accolades. After the event of their untimely deaths, we were left with a butt load of money and jewelry.
