Just thought it would be interesting to create a
sunset at midnight by burning the moon.
My mind works strange like that. A rebel at heart. LOL

This really makes us think of a late desert evening, all of the colors in the evening sky. We wonder of the colors of a prairie fire late into the night as old man Saguaro's silhouette dances about. Tight

Well hello:)

We took a picture of the eclipse with our cell phone a few months back.
It literally looked like the moon was on fire.
So eerie but beautiful at the same time.
It started leaning towards more of a lustful tone
when I started writing so I just went with it.
I think it needs more work but it was written in like 15 min.
That song was too sexy to not give it a try. LOL

I don't think I've ever used that word before. (As I check it off my bucket list of fire words. Lol)

This is solid, vivid.  Like a dash of perfume that isn't overbearing, but definitely rapturing.  I especially like the idea of flames "feathering" in the sky.  That's how I saw it anyway.  Like I said, vivid write.  
I like to see when I read.  Thank you for that!

the song before. It all turned sexual so I went with it.

When you do a speed write inspired by a song the universe explodes into magic. Love where this took me and the romantic exhilaration of your words. Your word painting was more than a portrait. It was a supernova across the screen as my eyes smoked from your imagery.

A fiery, passionate work! Fire has always been my element, more so than the other elements anyway... and love and passion subjects near and dear to my heart. This is a great poem that brings such things into a skillfully blended work of art! Brilliant stuff.

I've written more than a few works from time to time that were inspired by dreams and visions, so I get what you mean there. When such visions come, one must write to preserve the experience for all of time! :D
