Dejure Chronicles
Part One
With the wires
on high towers
They couldn't
spread their wings
My guardian angels
but I saw them fly...
or an illusion
of them flying...
They gave me
the great hope...
but they didn't fly
They just jumped
from one tower
to another...
trying to grab
a piece of clouds
among others
who truly
had wings
~
I've learned
to jump
a bit over the
lower wires
hanging on
to the towers
flying on
winged companions
I lived an illusion
I enjoyed it
I believed
I could fly
as the towers
kept on growing
I couldn't cope
I was hanging from
where I couldn't even
see my grounds
Then..,
I had the greatest fall
crumbling down the towers
breaking every bone
losing all hope
to a dark pit
With the wires
on high towers
They couldn't
spread their wings
My guardian angels
but I saw them fly...
or an illusion
of them flying...
They gave me
the great hope...
but they didn't fly
They just jumped
from one tower
to another...
trying to grab
a piece of clouds
among others
who truly
had wings
