Love's Darkest Shade
Cold and bitter, I detest the vibrant colors the days bring,
I mourn for the monotoned colors the night brings while I rot and wither
As I linger on the contrasts of you which exist in darkest parts of my mind
Your hallowed touch spoke for your words of silence
Shame that bleeds and deepens itself into my existence
Though the betrayal did not begin when the blade pierced me but when you began to twist profusely
I pour the darkest shade of my love onto you with no control of my animosity
I envy the peace and normalcy you carry as I remain in a state of aggrieve
Yet I still desire your ill comfort
I mourn for the monotoned colors the night brings while I rot and wither
As I linger on the contrasts of you which exist in darkest parts of my mind
Your hallowed touch spoke for your words of silence
Shame that bleeds and deepens itself into my existence
Though the betrayal did not begin when the blade pierced me but when you began to twist profusely
I pour the darkest shade of my love onto you with no control of my animosity
I envy the peace and normalcy you carry as I remain in a state of aggrieve
Yet I still desire your ill comfort
