Mournful Embrace
Deep ache in my chilling bones
Withering away in the wind
Drowning in a void of emotion
Despondent and distraught
Mournful embrace
Emergent funeral skies,
They create a gale
Lifts my black veil
The fragrance of your bloodless flesh hits my nose like a substance
Deprived of genuine solace
Empty bodies fail to comfort
Misconstrued and forlorn
Forborne to show vulnerability
Inability to grasp the concept of life without you
Begging to rot with you
Consequential to exist without you
Life is so consequential
Death has proven to be the highest form of intimacy

It's Gothic!!!!!!!!!! U got me excited. I gotta get off these streets here in West,La. because this is fresh. I haven't heard this type of writing in a long ah time. Mine has become something else. And, death is the highest form of intimacy. People start to think more of u when u are dead. Also even if u can take another body with the past life in mine, u will feel them thinking about u sexually based upon what they should've done with u. This writing is awesomely alright granduer!

Beautiful angst sounds paradoxical, but your poem shows it IS possible. Makes me want to comfort you and express my whole empathy. Clearly, you have much to say and the talent to say it.

I beg to differ for the simple reason that we are all spiritual beings having a physical experience
Life didn't begin at birth because the existence of the spirit is there before conception
Since death is not the end it is rather a return to the spiritual world.
Forgive me for my next quotation by ignoring the source but please focus on the message

I agree, though it may feel the way I've expressed it during the grieving process after loosing a loved one. Maybe my latest poem posted "Eternal Student" will give you a better insight of my spiritual believes :)
