Hot and cold
Some people say that some Winter days
Are as cold as a witch's tits.
On such cruelly hot Summer days
I wish I had one next to me
For some other people Hell is right here
On earth
On such scorching days it feels like
Lucifer is next door and enjoying herself,
Laughing at us as she is turning up the heat
Getting her hellish BBQ ready
For the usual rowdy crowd.

It's 114 where I am (or 45+) today. Luckily I work indoors. But when I get in my car, yes, it feels like hell until the AC gets going.

Power shortages in a terribly rich country. Texas seems to be the worst. Incompetence (I doubt) or greed (most likely) from these ''providers)...........

It's all of that combined. It's a shame. You're right, why is the richest country putting it's citizens through this.
