But still I did very well with my grades.

So much detention they had to get out the ropes, chains, whip, toys, the whole nine yards. Perhaps I was being very bad for that reason. To be detained in the most extreme ways. Trying to work out my sexual anxiety so I can concentrate on getting my school work done. Schools have so many nooks and crannies to dive into... ;)

I was always in trouble in high school.
Regular detention
Cutting classes, smoking, speeding when I got my license, near blowing up the chem lab.  Want more ? Oh yeah, trying to get blow jobs from Patti behind the football stands.  Ah the good old days.  My poor parents having to try and explain my behavior the principal.  He wasn't buying it.  Off to detention.

I bet you know many lyrics. Teacher and student is an interesting interaction. How often does a girl lust after teacher. How often he lusts after her. And it’s not only about blondes, I think. It’s the whole dynamics that, if not contained by looseness, playfulness, is dangerous. For teachers and, more importantly, pupils alike. For we seem to forget the inequality. Or am I too seriously?

That’s why I was called the activist teacher. For quite some time I taught the kids that were written off. And groups that are written off turn into the most dangerous lot there is. When you are written off, you’ve nothing left to loose.
You’d chew the pins out of hand grenades because, what’s the worst that could happen?

We would collectively laugh at it. ‘Oh, I am so grateful’ would pass more than a couple of times. And at first I would answer: show me how grateful. That was met with a shy and guarded grin and smile. Unsure if I were serious.

Until the moment that the diploma’s were handed out. There would always be a young woman who would say: ‘oh, I am so grateful’.
And I would say (cupping one ear to the pupils): ‘show me’ and the rest would add: just how grateful…..

I realise that this comment is not what you wished for. Or had in mind.
It’s to support the idea, that it is a dynamic affecting all young people from all colour or background.

Well hey Johnny, true it's not just blondes but that's how it came to me so I went with it. ;) I definitely understand what you mean about the dynamics for sure. Teachers are in a position of authority and that definitely sets up the playing field differently. No doubt all teachers are likely tempted at some point. The inequality can be abused for sure. I could say a lot more on that but I will leave it there.

The potential of those kids that are written off can be incredible if they are given a chance to shine, and it's great that you tried to do that. When I was very young and we had moved to the UK I ended up going through some very difficult things and a lot of reckless behavior followed. So that's something I know a lot about although I always got good grades but I definitely understand about inequality especially at certain ages.
