The First Day Of Fall
I welcome you, Fall
A much anticipated change
From color to color
Not as crisp nor
Quite as cold
As I would prefer
But greeted happily
In this little southern
Fishing town where
The river often smells putrid
And the pumpkins sprout
In time for when
The annual fall festivals begin
A much anticipated change
From color to color
Not as crisp nor
Quite as cold
As I would prefer
But greeted happily
In this little southern
Fishing town where
The river often smells putrid
And the pumpkins sprout
In time for when
The annual fall festivals begin
