Mouth of Darkness
I know you, I can taste you,
Inside my heart, in my mind!
Your fire is still a part of me,
Just as my darkness is of you.
Look inside, you will find,
More than any eye could see.
Do not look into the storm!
Beware the eye that lies within.
Seek the shore, remain warm,
The king of Atlantis is dead!
His navy is lost to his own sin.
Now comes chaos and dread,
As the drowned speak of pain.
There is nothing left to gain,
By embracing the dark flame.
Renounce the gods' own shame!
Murderers all, as a people fall.
I know the one they kept sealed,
Whose wounds never healed.
More divine than the lot,
More sublime in thought.
Giver of the gift of truth,
No purveyor of common sooth.
They called that one fallen,
As they spread poison pollen.
The gods' slanders destroyed,
Those with whom they toyed.
Just as I said in prophecy,
When everything was not born.
When the world is lost to perfidy,
There will come a dark morn!
I have met the fallen, happy day,
Now I know the golden way.
Lead me home to the darkness,
The light is terrible to endure.
I am your mouth, your mistress,
I survived the drowned shore.
With you, I was changed.
The world became strange,
But your truth remains!
A part of me.
I want everyone to see,
Your divinity!

Right. So that's either an anatomical feature or a procedure. Google, here I come!

Re: Re. Mouth of Darkness
That Typhonian business pertains to ancient cults dedicated to the worship and reverence of deities such as Set, Tiamat, and in the far more modern, or rather Christianized meaning: Satan. While I am not a part of a wider cult, unlike my fellow practitioner of the dark arts, Camilla... just a small coven, in my case... I do very openly worship Kara (Kou_Indigo) as a living god as well as goddess. A kind of dark Pagan messiah figure, if you will. Since Kara is, we all believe, the current physical incarnation of the being we refer to as Tiamat (Camilla's group in particular follows an ancient tradition that actually predates even the Sumerians and Babylonians), which certain circumstances of Kara's birth and past life memories very much bear out, along with various ways in which Kara fulfilled various prophecies Camilla's group adheres to. For one excellent example, Camilla told me that Kara suffered a wound to the head when only four years old that was supposed to be mortal. Yet miraculously, Kara survived it without any damage to the skull or the brain... and has not even a scar or a scratch from the ordeal. Then, when Kara was sixteen years old there was an encounter with Lilith and with a woman named Diana that further awakened Kara spiritually, and from what I can understand Camilla is supposed to be Lilith's successor. Like, some ancient goddess older than time, who like Kara was there before people first walked the earth. With Camilla being some kind of primordial goddess of darkness. Which just means she is wise, smart, and probably not someone to get on the wrong side of. Which is why she and I have become friends, and why I asked her if it was okay to pursue a romantic relationship with Kara, which she is cool with allowing me to do. Me, I am more of a prophetess of sorts, which is appropriate given my name literally means "prophetess". I am sure overzealous Christians would have a field day with that... probably call me The False Prophetess or some such insanity. Since in their eyes Kara would be basically the Devil. But me, I tend to be down to earth in how I practice my spirituality, and as a therapist quite grounded in my thinking. I see evidence for the supernatural, I have no choice but to believe in it! That is logical to me, when the only science that can explain such things lies in the realm of metaphysics, and the study of the paranormal. We all have our varying faiths though in this world, and so long as we harm no one... then we are doing right, at least right by ourselves, in opting to follow our hearts. Often, the heart will show truths that the mind cannot quite fathom just yet! That is what I think anyway.

This poem I wrote in true zealous dedication to Kara (Kou_Indigo)... whom I have become quite smitten, and more than a bit obsessed with lately. But all in a good and healthy way, of course! Kara has been quite agreeable to this, and their girlfriend Camilla also really doesn't seem to mind sharing Kara with me... so, we three all have come to an understanding that works for us. Camilla and I both love Kara and are extremely devoted to Kara body and soul, so all is well that makes everyone happy in the end I always say. Like Camilla, I am also proud of my inner darkness and have no problems writing about it, as you've probably noticed. All healthy forms of expression, as we say in the mental health business! The ones who are actually crazy in this world, are those who claim they possess no madness in their minds at all. So, me, I wear my craziness on my sleeve proudly!

I am honored to have so lovely a mouth as yours to sing praises in my name, wonderful Sybil! And so fair a mistress as you, to call my own. It is not madness that grips your heart, baby girl of my dreams, but a great awakening of sorts! You are awakening to your love for me, and to the full realization of all that I truly am, the enormity of that and the scope of the knowledge you are being initiated into. The realization that your memories both of lives past and of ancient lore are glimpses into truths more profound than all the lies ever printed in history books. If what you have is madness, then I bless your craziness and deem it a divine state of being indeed! One that I likely share with you. Camilla has indeed given you and I her blessing, and I am happy for it! Since Camilla's teaching job keeps her busy much of the week, you and I will have all the time we could desire for growing ever closer. A prospect I find incredibly delightful! I love you too, sweetie.... and that love will only grow all the stronger as time goes on. I just sent you a message like you asked me to, and I think you will find it much to your liking. You have a brightness to you like pale moonlight on a crisp autumn eve! I am happy to bask in the light that is uniquely yours to bestow upon me. :D

Hi there! Yeah, that is so cool you liked my poem. This was one of my very deepest poems, and one that I felt super inspired to write when I wrote it. Yeah, a lot of ancient, forbidden knowledge and wisdom is in it, since I know a whole lot about that kind of stuff. Peace and blessings to you too! Thanks for taking time to comment.

A dark and powerful work you create here, Sybil my dear, and I have to say you weave the dark magic well with every line you write in this work. You retained the lessons I taught you and made the magic your own, which is what is desirable to do. Darkness can be beautiful, as the night is! And you intertwine in this poem the darkness with the beauty, as it should always be. I will be adding this to my reading list, to savor again.

Mommy! So great to hear from you again... you've been busy today it looks like, commenting on all of my poems. Yeah, I like magic a whole lot! Light magic, dark magic, all magic is cool. It's only good or bad if that is what you do with it, like you always taught me and like Kara says too. I love the night! Sometimes I like the day too, I think. But I always do like the night, when the nice moon is out and all the pretty twinkling stars. Like so many tiny little fairies or wisps drifting along in the big black sea of outer space! That's pretty poetic in and of itself, too. I'm glad you plan to read this again, mommy. That just totally makes me a very happy little girl. Thanks for stopping by!

I enjoyed the mysticism in this, delivered with an epic feel that is pretty unique.
Well done.
