To The Bonez sToned aNd Sticking witH it
Stone to the bone in the rhyme zone Outshone by the cyclone to the well-known from the unknown
Bricks and stones can be made into a home
But words can huff and puff until it's blown
Bones will heal from sticks wielded and stones thrown
But words can hurt for a lifetime
Sticks and stones have come and gone
But angry words leave scars unbeknownst
Better bring a big rock and swing a mighty thick stick
If you got the stones to start a conflict
Be very careful with each and every word you pick
Sticks from a tree may hurt me Stones from the ground may knock me down
But my profound words will make you drown
Words can cut to the bone like a knife and quick
Much worse of a hurt than any stick could inflict
The tone alone can pack a lick and make you sick
Sticks and stones may break my bones but your words may get your ass kicked
"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can also hurt me. Stones and sticks break only skin, while words are ghosts that haunt me. Slant and curved the word-swords fall, It pierces and sticks inside me. Bats and bricks may ache through bones, but words can mortify me.
