To walk apart
to be without
is to have forever winter
without hope of spring
For it is then hoped
that whatever was covered
will thaw and once again
be caressed by a warm and waiting hand
A voice is a tree
that grows in me
whose branches are enthralling
when its leaves kiss the skies
Where desires are green clouds
that roll on above me
but never settle fulfilled
to my blue earth
But to hold heaven
is when the rainbow in your smile
addresses the pages of your mind
whose bosom of seasons
Is where I forever dwell
until the book surrenders my name
in the poetry of your eyes
that are never read
to be without
is to have forever winter
without hope of spring
For it is then hoped
that whatever was covered
will thaw and once again
be caressed by a warm and waiting hand
A voice is a tree
that grows in me
whose branches are enthralling
when its leaves kiss the skies
Where desires are green clouds
that roll on above me
but never settle fulfilled
to my blue earth
But to hold heaven
is when the rainbow in your smile
addresses the pages of your mind
whose bosom of seasons
Is where I forever dwell
until the book surrenders my name
in the poetry of your eyes
that are never read
