I'm a stone
Though I may fall,
I will not shatter.
Though I may be stepped upon,
I will not break.
Overlooked and forgotten,
I'll not wither.
I'm all stone
Flesh and bone,
lifeless
I'm a stone.
Though season may come and go,
Storms will come and pass.
Wherever life kicks me
I shall make it my home.
And if it should be,
That the gravity of this world crushes me
I shall reinvent myself to sand
But forever I'll remain resolute and true to myself.
Unharmed,
Unchanged,
Incorruptible.
Whichever way life shalt use me,
Weapon or shield,
Stepping stone or a rock,
I'll remain true to myself.
I'm all stone
Flesh and bone
Lifeless
And all alone
I'm a stone.
I will not shatter.
Though I may be stepped upon,
I will not break.
Overlooked and forgotten,
I'll not wither.
I'm all stone
Flesh and bone,
lifeless
I'm a stone.
Though season may come and go,
Storms will come and pass.
Wherever life kicks me
I shall make it my home.
And if it should be,
That the gravity of this world crushes me
I shall reinvent myself to sand
But forever I'll remain resolute and true to myself.
Unharmed,
Unchanged,
Incorruptible.
Whichever way life shalt use me,
Weapon or shield,
Stepping stone or a rock,
I'll remain true to myself.
I'm all stone
Flesh and bone
Lifeless
And all alone
I'm a stone.
