Pandemic Blues

The pandemic lockdown was a time
A strangers bed you could not climb
You must keep two metres apart
How on earth can sex start

Abstinence was necessary
Fear of illness so scary
Vaccination was long coming
Having sex I was shunning

They say if you don't use it
You will soon loose it

Resuming sex after a year and a half
Will my performance be cry or laugh?
I was in luck, in spite of my age
My genitals remembered how to engage.

My performance was no worse
Than before this viral curse,
I am now happily mating
Catching up from abstainating.
