Edge of the Earth
I thought it would be kind of cool
to sort of... Venture to places that I find to have...
Interesting energies...
Places, where I see a visage of myself...
In order to surface that which is latent in the depths...
This was recorded in this nature area by the water...
Circa 3am...
I could feel the creatures of the wastes watching me...
It is interesting that such locations still exist,
even so close to civilization...
It is quite beautiful...
Last night... I was out in this other area,
near my home, and a dear leapt out of nowhere...
This was a place where, in the past,
I saw a whole tribe of deers... Just standing and looking at me...
But yes...
My camera... I am still sort of...
Getting used to operating this thing...
Thus far I have not been able to capture with it
the subtle nuances of light and shadow...
I do not know how to gauge the quality
of its capacity...
I am going to try and work with the night vision apparatus...
And some other things...
I like it because it is small enough to fit into
this pocket of a war vest I wear...
But the battery... I let it sit for a bit
and it discharges in interesting ways...
Like for this recording...
I was sort of seeing what I could see
and determine how I wanted to film this and then...
I just had to hit record... :)))
With the idea of the flashing red light in the
back of my mind...
But I like that... I like to have resistance...
I seek to cultivate the ability to break on
through to the other side...
In all circumstances...
I like the chaos and the obstacles...
I thought of like...
A series of "P-Logs"... Poetry Logs...
I don't know that I like that...
I like the idea of each standing alone
as an art installation...
To institute energies into The Great Work...
I think about these things...
They are important to me...
I have been seeing different developments
in my life, which I attribute to the energies derived...
From The Writing...
It is still so strange to me...
How this all... Came to be...
But it's cool...
