Sad truth, I think it's a hard pill to swallow, to apologize, to move on, when the shame is mirrored in that person whom we've wronged out of some personal fear ignorance.

This is a 30 year friendship cast aside due to a spiteful comment from a person so toxic they probably glow in the dark DC. Sad really.
