Meta Mimetic

An instability of meaning    
may make conversation absurd    
when definition quarantining    
makes an invigorating word.    
   
Mean what you say and say what you mean    
and keep obfuscation at arm's length,    
for honor will not respect a scene    
where prevarication is full strength...    
unless the lie therein is white,    
and only a little one as well,    
because of course a lie is never right    
in heaven or semantic hell...    
   
where translations are always quickly lost    
at comprehension's operating cost.
