This is one of the writes that leaves a reader to imagine what happens next. It could go so many ways, even a scenario where the student over takes the teacher.

I'm afraid I think palm readings are a lot of hocus-pocus. That and crystal balls predicting the future. But, hey, if they give you hope, why not.

Perhaps the Palmist was a metaphor, for something else? That’s the beauty of poetry and using imagery.

Few words but filled with immense interpretation. Let imagination work and figure out. I love the metaphor. Dreams and dreams and end in dreams.
