I've thought about how certain personalities match up to either a cat or a dog, then again for many animals lovers it doesn't matter.

I also heard a recent poll, survey. The findings: people who are of limited means tend to have a cat. Those who are wealthier and oftentimes have yards, tend to have dogs. This does not surprise me. Even in my local area FB group, some people in dire need will ask you if you by chance happen to have cat food around. Never had one asking about dog food.
