Goodbye Humanity
I think we all might
be a little dead inside
goodbye humanity
there was a time
I was happy
with the world around me
that smile faded
like a flicker fame
I try to still believe in society
but the more I try
the more bullshit I see
they say no one wants to work anymore
well I guess that might be true
but you pay and pay into a corrupt system
then have fuckers like Joe Manchin
saying how the poor will misuse taxes
all while screaming this from his yacht
the hypocrisy probably would be funny
if it wasn't so fucking tragic
in this world we seek companionship
you try to make a friend
it turns into what you can offer them
money, sex, drugs
if you don't have that
then you probably are pretty lonely
I can't help but feel its all coming to an end
sure, I see the good in this world
the hope in the youth
but between war, global warming, and ignorance
we will all be dead
before anything is done to save us
probably be too busy bickering
on what is plain to see
some are aware of the impending doom
while others stay in their made up beliefs
that helps nothing
that is nothing

I beg to differ! You walk into a dark room, light a match and everyone in said room looks towards the light..we are the flames, lights if we choose to be. Dont look for the change to start with others. They will always disappoint. Humanity works in chain reactions of the human spirit. You have a passion in this write, you are a world changer...be it..let it spread.

Be the light. I agree. Just seems that kind of ideology is rare and also strange to most people. There is beauty in this world, just not enough to save it.

Lol, I'm contrary...to belief. Faith saves it. Religion kills. Theres enough, but we have to remind hope in humanity that theres time to change and have hope. Great write DC! You have a kind soul!
