Shadows of Gold

In the land of the Iguana
where the warm grass grows
beneath the fallen tree
over stones

souls reach for silent waters
as gentle winds blow
through shadows of gold
and my sweet Tequilla

in God's Ponderosa
where the sidewalk ends
in Heaven's eternal nave
leaving prints in the sand
