Control

I’m not sure what happened
Never had a clue
They said this would happen
That once married things would change
Never believed them
Been together to long gone through to much
Well at least i believed
Something switched in you
Starting small and slowly
Trying to gain control
Realizing that’s not going to happen
Putting up a fight
Standing my ground
Only giving me reasons to not
Pushing me to have back up plans
I won’t let you control me
Taking everything away
Holding it all above my head
Maybe that is the cause
I’m putting up a fight
Not letting you succeed
