Weird indeed it feels to be doing 'normal activities' amidst such chaotic scenes. I'm so glad I have a couple of acres to look after - I really appreciate planting spuds, pruning, watching the cabbages and onions grow -- and even pulling brambles (my b�te noire) for the last 14 years feels like a gift from heaven. Everything is out super-early this year. The wisteria already flowering, and even tomatoes are showing up (small & green). Fruit trees already well blossoming. I think the more disconnected one is from the land, from art & genuine culture, the easier it is to go mad.
