make my day a bit brighter.  
Makes my grip on life ever so slightly tighter.  
I need this comfort. I ain’t no fighter.  
   
You lift me up to deepen the fall.  
You push me down to lengthen my crawl.  
Express your beliefs in words for me.  
Depress to achieve my love for sanity.  
   
Carry my linguistic child.  
Bear it and raise it strong ánd mild.  
Marry my being. Rarely a feeling.  
Numb is my rule of thumb.  
Floors reflect my ceiling.  
   
Cheat the future to make it pass.  
Deform all cultures to mold a cast.  
You decide which rules to follow.  
I decide whos pains I borrow.  
   
I thank from the deepest of hearts.  
I adore you for the diversity in arts.  
I love the hate and glee you throw at me.  
I’ll never forget deep underground poetry.
