Grandpa,
My super hero, my rock, the true definition of a GOD fearing man and radiant soul.

You see, Today isn’t so much of a “good bye” to me.
It’s a “thank you” & “see you again” time for me.

Thank you for leading our family with the ultimate love & unity.
I still can’t fathom what life without you is gonna be,
yet there’s some sense of peace within me knowing your spirits free.


Thank you for your never ending patience with me.
Not getting angry but educating me of the ME you see.
When I was still young, confused and battling with my identity
You turned me to the word of God to search for my true Destiny.

Thank you for being present
As a father, a counselor, a dear friend, that’s for sure.
Anyone would be beyond blessed to meet a man half the man you were.

This isn’t goodbye, our souls will reunite once more
I look forward to you greeting me at heavens door.
Grandpa, I can go on all day about you it seems.
But I’ll tell you the rest, next time you visit me in my dreams.
