we live underground
queens with hives
looking through
your glass window
late at night

straight through you
can’t run from us
the swarming curse
pray for a nurse
she drives the

won’t save you
suicide sacrifice
sacred side effect
ritual of flight
we're your doom
coming for you
carnivorous teeth

candied bite of

So I just finished watching the first season of Yellowjackets on Showtime. Wow!!!
Totally hooked to all that dark f****** up stuff. Very Lord of the Flies but in a female perspective.
Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci are amazing in this!!! Totally killed it.
And yes I broke my own rules about posting but....fuck it!! LOL
now back to my project. hehehehe

Super write. If I could sing I would sing it. The meter is terrific. Great rhyming and phrasing. I’m completely done in by the fact you created this after watching a tv show. This kind of inspiration is fabulous to me. I would have just said, “yeah, great show. Really liked it”. You write a piece of art.

I was going to use the word EpiPen in that stanza but changed my mind last minute. It reminded me of writing with a pen. I wanted to keep it more in tune with the yellowjacket instead of writing a poem.

This has been, hands down, my new favorite show to watch!! I think Melanie Lynskey (Shauna) is an absolutely phenomenal actress, too. I've loved her character work for years and she's just utterly amazing in each episode. The more I learn about her the more it blows my mind 🤯 ... lol.... Soo awesome! I really love Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci as well, like you said, they rock the hell out of their roles.... Omg - Misty is truly
insane!!!...lol...haha... The writing for the series is so well calibrated, making the constant jump of timelines feel smooth and effortless.... kind of like it's it's own 'character', too.
I can hardly wait to see what happens in the next season... I hope it's viewership did okay enough for the show to continue to be made and it's not on any chopping block of cancelation!!.... I hate it when I fall in love with the first season of a really killer (pun intended!) show only to find out that it never comes back for a second.... Uggh! 🤦🏻♀️
