Leaving Vegas

Lucked out in Vegas
by the railroad track
lucked out in Vegas
one day I'll be back
one time I'll win
I just know

I may gamble my blood
before I relent
but one day back I will go

When lady luck smiles
I can't throw in my hand
though it's sure a long walk
cross Nevada's hot sands
gotta grab me
one last throw

It's hot on the tables
and hard on the girls
when you win
you're in love with
the gambling world
where you grin like a king
before losing your shirt

I may gamble my blood
before I relent
and my money's all spent
but one time back I will go

Lucked out in Vegas
by the railroad track
waiting to leave
this cardboard shack
but one day soon
I know I'll be back
One day I'll win
I just know
