DESIRE
It is owned
by someone
that loves it;
it has given
hours and years
of pleasure;
it has touched
others and been
touched,
OH,
the temptation
to not only pamper
it but to take my
injured finger and
kiss the pain away
like mother did when
I was a boy,
Meet me at the
Kissing Place
and I'll kiss your pain
away too.
