Ions Dancing
in the forest as the rain pours down
onto mushrooms on the mossy ground
drip, dripping from the canopy
water's falling on all I see
water's falling on the fallen leaves
trickling under them as it weaves
it's way into gathering streams
churgle gurgle, or so it seems
for a moment there is no hush
as water tumbling starts to rush
returning once more to the sea
forever pulled by gravity
ions dancing with every splash
as molecules of water crash
into each other while flowing down,
a mesmerizingly soothing sound
in the forest as the rain pours down
I'm transported by the liquid sound
I'm elated just hearing the
call to water by gravity...
onto mushrooms on the mossy ground
drip, dripping from the canopy
water's falling on all I see
water's falling on the fallen leaves
trickling under them as it weaves
it's way into gathering streams
churgle gurgle, or so it seems
for a moment there is no hush
as water tumbling starts to rush
returning once more to the sea
forever pulled by gravity
ions dancing with every splash
as molecules of water crash
into each other while flowing down,
a mesmerizingly soothing sound
in the forest as the rain pours down
I'm transported by the liquid sound
I'm elated just hearing the
call to water by gravity...
