What Does God Think?

Feeling doubtful,
Spiteful,
Worried and sad.

Ugly ,
Discouraged,
Fearful and mad.

My cup is half empty.
It’s going to rain.
My world is so dark,
With bitterness and pain.

Everyone hates me.
I’m feeling no love.
No family.
No friends.
No help from above.

I feel like I’m drowning.
My boat’s starting to sink.
It hurts to be alive.
But what does God think?

The word says I’m fearfully
And wonderfully made.
I’m more than a conqueror.
I have been saved.

My cup runneth over.
My future’s so bright.
Whatever was wrong.
The Lord made it right.

He loves me so much.
He forgave all my sins.
He gave me new life.
I was dying within.

With God on my side,
Anything can be done.
I don’t have to worry.
The battle’s already won.

When my thoughts go astray
And my faith starts to shrink.
I ask myself this one question.
What does God think?
