I will never be able too see most people
As anything other than evil
False, thinly veiled self concerned evil
That's the damage done to me
And by the looks of our societies daily goings on
And by the looks of all the popular media representatives
It looks to be the damage done to many
It's hard to believe anyone
Everyone contradicts and convicts
Baying teams out for rights
Not for what's really right
Not for what's really true
Just for their rights
Or his rights
Her rights
Anyone's right to be right
If it means they get to be right too
But not true
Well other than those fabled my truths
Like a my space or a safe place
Where you can keep away
From all those hateful people
Who aren't at all like you....
Everyone seems more scared than anything

Blue, red, black, white
it's all the same brand of striping
The colour's are different sure
But the fears the same
Maybe that was the point?
But I doubt it
Seems to be more sown divisions
In this great garden of paradise lost
Eve believes Adam's a beast
Adam believes Eve's a whore
The snake is god
And god is dead
And man?
Is scared with nothing sacred
Nothing but the here and now
And making sure he can tell himself
This isn't hell.
There's no smoke without fire
And there's no hope without faith
As you choke on the flames you fanned
From the sparks you were provided
In a society turned to kindling
Fractured and split
Into fragile splinters
Will you believe in your socio-saviours
To bring you from the brink of death
Will you put your faith in them
In order to feel hope?
Why, there is nothing else after all
