Ultimately
Beauty will destroy me
I've always chased it
Won most of the time
When I lost however
It cut me
Badly
Hard wired for the chase
On a trail of personal destruction
Knowing the wounds are a cancer
Hoping not to bleed out
Unless my mouth covers yours
In the ultimate passion play
Last call for salvation

I love the painting, I can see so much including a crypt with a coffin and blood on the walls. Yes it's almost Halloween (that's my excuse) but I guess that does fit, she will destroy you in the end. You always lose at least once; we are all on a trail of destruction it seems. Nice confessional.

I usually wait awhile, luck my wounds, get up and try again....

When you've seen what I have, it's pretty crazy that I didn't take a few shots my way. That said, I love connection and will do almost anything to have that vibe and thrill. Beauty is the fire starter and I'm on the perimeter with the lighter fluid 💥💥💥

Wow! Awesome! Certainly never know what to expect with your poems and that’s cool! The painting is a great compliment, almost a partly caged image.You know you shouldn’t pursue but there’s an opening in the bars incase you change your mind.

Maybe it was because I went to a museum this weekend I'm becoming more appreciative of the arts and paintings, and maybe it's because of the way you wrote this in compliment to image that I can begin to feel more of the emotion through color and texture.
