My Heartsongs

Today, I write
Of happy thoughts and feelings
I sing heart songs
Of love and joy
I spill tears of hope
And happiness of my heart
I have sang songs of sadness
Of despair and failures
Of hopeless dreams
And broken heart
In the past
In the winter of my yesterday
Now I can only bask
In the spring of my present
And sing arias of love to the wind
