False Hope

I remember when the suit that's hung for occasions was casual wear and the most exotic thing woman wore was their hair. We are progress and are yet a foreshadow of a foreseen doom. But we overlook doom and replace it with Jesus is coming very soon. Embracing custom truth and robbing truth from its authenticity. "Why worry about the whole story I just want to focus on me." "l don't need drama I need blessings." "Counting the gifts that my God gave me not even adhering to the warfare and trials that awaits me, why? Because the Lord takes care of me." While you remain in a place of receiving you neglect a place of giving. And before you rebuddle and say, "I pay my tithes." Leave and go back home. Go in your room and hide. You must know that the required "tithe" that others paid before you was one that required them to die.
 
Jesus, His Disciples, His Prophets and Apostles all made a payment of suffering and death. But that isnt your testimony. You ain't done living yet. While you cherish life and enjoy your distractions; other people that are connected to your life are being attacked and killed like a chain reaction. Even though that out come is only a fraction. You shrug and continue your day while watching "Fatal Attractions."
Funny how you're watching something that bares a warning.  You are so blinded because you must give an account to what God and people have done for you lately.  
You turn the channel of negativity and disregard messages of judgment because "why listen to that noise", "life is short" and "dont judge me".  "Thats just the Devil" You are busy praising God  while you embrace your blessings. Eating the fat of the land, counting your resources and just living life. So comfortable in your present state that you forgot or don't even know what suffering is like.  
You think you are so close and you don't even know that you're so far but no one can tell you  different. You love how you feel. You stored up so much but you forgot that you shouldn't be storing treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal.  
You don't have time. You have to work. You have goals. You are so busy. You forgot that your God said, "One must deny oneself pick up their cross and follow me." You say you want peace you cant deal with suffering. However your God said that he that suffers with Me shall reign with Me. The result of this world being how it is. Is this world changing from "For God I die" to "For myself I live." So while you embrace your every day life, counting your blessings and nurture your sense of security. Just know there is a chance your sense of security could  be false and you very well could be deceived.
