I could relate to all the comments above. There’s such a sensual feeling and spiritual freeing in a night skinny dip. Although I’ve never actually skinny dipped I have gone night swimming and what I found so in sync with your poem was the sound of the water against the silence of the night. It was almost like an orchestra of crystal glasses lightly touched. Very twinkly. This doesn’t sound like it makes much sense or relate to your lovely write but my head just went there😔

I think your idea of hearing an orchestral *tinkling* of crystal glasses makes perfect sense to me.... it's such a close association, music and motion... A memory or sense of nostalgic past that swells an emotional feel of freedom and floating.... I absolutely love where my little write was able to take you..... I thank you for sharing that with me. So pretty and tender.  
(I hope you get to experience skinny dipping just once.... It's totally worth it... I promise *wink)

I wonder if you're still reading from the darkness of the wings.... this poem is sadness mixed with a bit of refreshing hope and promise.... as the cool night water washes over.... cleansing away the pain.... soaking a body's hurt..... while thoughts permeate for want of understanding.....
