Touch me like the sun

Only the sun will touch me.
-Amar El-Mohtar, "Zambian Honey", The Honey Month

Touch me like the sun
written August 21st, 2021

I dream of others
touching my skin
with hands gentle and hungry
with tongues wet and insistent
worshiping my breasts
reaching inside of me
until I am spread open
aching and joined with them.

Touch me
like the sun is now.

Author's Note
I have been away for a while. Visited family for the first time in ages and it was a surprisingly nice visit. This poem is inspired by TK. Thank you! For me it's interesting that this one follows "The world thrusts itself inside". The difference time of day and so many things can make. Is it an unwelcome intrusion, or a welcome sharing? Also makes me think back to "Winter sun" burning its way past my walls and barriers.
