These Wrinkles

[i] These wrinkles on our faces
are wonderful treasures,
created by times in our lives
meant to remind us where we've been,
who we are, and accepted as gift’s,
not to be erased by some cosmetic
surgeon’s procedure...

They each tell a story of many
places traveled, the trials of one’s
life slowly revealed and unraveled...

Our wrinkles are a reminder from God,
that much knowledge was gained with each
and every wrinkle that came.

And each new wrinkle that appears, will be
received with humility and grace, not
an ounce of pain nor fear, or even disgrace.

For you can see the life I've lived written
all over my happy, wrinkled face~!
