The Small Café

Café Constant
139 Rue Saint-Dominique, 75007 Paris, France

Summer of 2017

I was sipping a cup of expresso outside of Café Constant
Inhaling the air of my native land
Listening to the sounds of laughter and easy banter among other seated patrons

Looking at the Eiffel Tower in the far distance and the memories it conspired
In the moment of time
Relentless lips blanketed mine

Encircled within strong arms
Sheltered against the pillar of a body waiting to be gifted of its pleasure
Closing my eyes to the remembrance of flirtatious whispers to my ears

Warm palms surveying the contour of my voluptuous physique
Promises that once held me so close
The summoning of the presence beckoning me from my musing

The hairs on the back of my neck stood in attendance
Like fate unseen
I lifted my head

My eyes blending with the enticing veil of once upon a time
Kissed with beguiling tales of the past
Getting lost in the reverence of now
And the beautiful possibilities of such

Part One Of Three…
