hinder

hello sun welcome the dark
my alter ego comes forth
rotating between greed and the need within
deep in the cruxes of truth is my soul

reach for the stars and bleed
crimson in the aether rise with thermal fears
I shiver then climb
into the the silent corridor and scream

my nightmares manifest with visions of naught
knowledge grimaces he understands
it does little good to complain
I am a keeper of dreams

vistas of nothingness add to my pangs
I see the darkened landscapes before me
they are my pain
haunting my steps is gloominess
shading the brightly lit path...grey

hinder not the light I think
but what of my black light it glows brighter
my tenuous grasp of sanity slips
my ugliness glowers and I glare back at it

rage burns inside of me
I thought I buried it deep enough
but here it is shining in my skies
a black hole in the cosmos

it's destructive devouring all in its path
growing bigger I shudder
