Epilogue of Rain
The epilogue of the rain
sounds like quelling silence.
A solve unto my pain -
a mystery I cannot solve.
Maybe I am insane -
I have long thought but never said.
because…
being insane was something that always made me proud.
Does that make me insane?
I guess I just didn’t want to be the same
as all those people in the crowd.
I guess I just wanted my silence to be loud
and vanquish the seeds sown
by lying scheming manipulative powers that be
that write the script of you and me
I guess I just wanted to be… free
but freedom you see
is the fodder of the sword
forever unto eternity… that’s my word

It's a valuable source of knowledge, to be introspective and to try asking the hard asks of one's self. It's brave and therapeutic, Imo.
I was caught up within this piece, thinking of that, while reading...
I too, like to feel as if I stand apart, hopefully being of my own mind and responding action and not a sheep among the herd...
It's always a good piece, when I'm left pondering and asking myself questions... I truly enjoy that.
Thank you for sharing, Cipher

Is that why I feel self loathing and mortification? :)))
Yes... I have a write in mind that sort of revolves around an epicenter of a figurative brain that is coming alive at the fault lines and some strange light is emitting... And the light becomes interactive and perhaps has a story to tell.
WTF...
Oh... I can almost guarantee that you are strong and alone in the crowd and yet possess the ability to adapts or blend when deemed necessary. You are awesome.
Very glad this piece interacted in such a way with your thought process. :)))

Youre too much... :)))
Are you speaking of the government patents for geo engineering or the northern lights that were seen prior to certain earth quake tsunamis (were they have never been seen?
HAARP.
Weather wars?
Thank you so much for this thought provoking comment. You brought a smile to my face, for shore. I even laughed.
Just the matter of factness of this statement is very cool to me.

Thank you, LJ. It is perhaps curious that humans are considered the evolved of terrestrial species and both genius and insanity are exclusive to us... Although there are arguments to made in all sorts of directions. Maybe everything is equally true and equally false...
Oh... One could easily overdose on contemplation...

I go round and round with trying to fit myself into the world and figure out diagnosis. In the end, it's really just between us and the ones we love. I've been reading some books written by very different minds, and they are interesting and beautiful. Who am I to say, one mind is good and another mind is not? I find it all interesting. Our lives are spent trying to figure out how to be ourselves. Thank you for making me think.

So nice to see you. As you know, I certainly have many thoughts in this regard, which I shall withhold at this time, in this place.
I do think that our perceptions can be manipulated by a sort of gaslighting of the populace, to a certain extent.
What I will say is that we are our own best psychologist/psychiatrist, and perhaps... to make this realization is to cross over to the side of genius.
