The start of it all
When I first saw you I knew instantly I wanted your attention.
It didn’t matter what it took to get it, even at the expense of my own ridicule.
Your smile & the way you flaunted your assets in front of me, swept me off my feet.
Too blind to see the strings that made me a puppet I was your soldier & I made sure the world knew it.
I ran through so many brick walls I became one. You noticed a change in my demeanor.
You gave up trying to talk to a brick wall. I turned into how you made me feel.
The Golden ticket of trust was laid at your feet & you chose to rip it to shreds.
You made me bare witness to the cruelty of your beauty.
I fell for your words but I was detoxed by your actions.
(Beautifully Tainted)
