Corona Bear
Corona and her persona exposed the selfish nature of mankind
Folks were hoarding & overcharging like they'd lost their minds
Hard to find were necessities like toiletries as shelves became bare
Me, me, me was the mentality and scarcity was costing a high fare
Life's not fair and when people get scared insanity emerges
Comradery, caring & bartering become underwater submerges
Some merges erected too amongst a few who genuinely cared
As the cockpit of the market descended from a bull to a bear

This is to true and that panic taught the producers and marketing a thing or two about our willingness to pay. We would enter one store in a particular location and it's empty,but travel thirty miles away and stores of the same line are pack to near burst. There is always going to be manipulation on some scale during a crisis, but when we turn on each other. When you pass someone with a shopping cart of meat or tissue, it amplifies the situation. But we have family that own their own farms and they never noticed a crisis. They are dang near self sustaining and there is the difference. Let's all hope that this crisis has truly past, yes, we have all witnessed both bulls and bears during a crisis.Tight work

It definitely opened my eyes to the enormous economic and social disparity and how it's just so hugely lopsided... I knew it was there but OMG, I can't think of a when it was ever made more apparent than during these times of societal panic and me-ism, during the height of pandemic mania...

And at the risk of seeming cliche, the civilized world is just a sugary crust over a pool of sewage. Once the people in power were "in danger" too, nothing was impossible.

Bro, way to really explain the overall reaction of many people when something tragic happens. Many folks become selfish for the sake of preservation and they turn ugly. It really goes to show that we (governments) were not ready to handle difficult situations, especially when the greed becomes exponential (like the guy who bought thousands of hand sanitizers and then couldn't sell them).
