Cycle of my mind
My brain is this floating island
Fireworks shooting off and out
Spinning slowly in lazy circles
Above a sea of glowing darkness
Its vibrant inkiness moving
As if it were magnetic sand
Or needle-like tendrils of shadows
Reaching up to touch the base
Causing my brain to lurch to a stop
Filling it with the thousands of memories
Of everything and absolutely nothing all at once
And just like like that my brain is a pincushion
Before the needles fall one by one
Stabbing the inky ocean into millions more needles
And angry magnetic sand trap with giant waves
Reaching up to try and over take my brain
Pulling it down and drowning it so thoroughly
Until there is utter perfect stillness
Seconds and minutes go by without movement
Before my brain rises back up once more
Needle like thoughts dipping off as if it were rain
And it all goes back to the way it always has been
My brain circling slowly in lazy circles
While the magnet inky darkness
Glows and reaches up trying to overtake me
Such is the cycle of my mind
Fireworks shooting off and out
Spinning slowly in lazy circles
Above a sea of glowing darkness
Its vibrant inkiness moving
As if it were magnetic sand
Or needle-like tendrils of shadows
Reaching up to touch the base
Causing my brain to lurch to a stop
Filling it with the thousands of memories
Of everything and absolutely nothing all at once
And just like like that my brain is a pincushion
Before the needles fall one by one
Stabbing the inky ocean into millions more needles
And angry magnetic sand trap with giant waves
Reaching up to try and over take my brain
Pulling it down and drowning it so thoroughly
Until there is utter perfect stillness
Seconds and minutes go by without movement
Before my brain rises back up once more
Needle like thoughts dipping off as if it were rain
And it all goes back to the way it always has been
My brain circling slowly in lazy circles
While the magnet inky darkness
Glows and reaches up trying to overtake me
Such is the cycle of my mind
